This website is dedicated to sharing, preserving, and practicing the invaluable teachings of Dagpo Rinpoche, Tibetan Buddhist teacher.
You will find here little by little, as this project progresses, all the immense wealth of video, audio and transcribed teachings that Rinpoche has been giving for our greatest joy in the span of nearly fifty years, a message imbued with wisdom and compassion, an exceptional transmission of the Buddha’s thought both anchored in an ancient tradition and presented from a modern angle, for our time.
Ganden Ling Institute is the first Buddhist congregation of the Gelug Order to be recognised in France. It pursues the work begun by Venerable Dagpo Rinpoche in 1978 alongside Guépèle Institute and the humanitarian and cultural organisation Entraide Franco-Tibétaine. The institutes serve to share the Buddha’s teachings with those who so desire, be it in France or abroad, and to allow for study, reflection and meditation on them. Venerable Dagpo Rinpoche and the institutes have had the honour of receiving over twenty masters, including Their Eminences Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Kyabje Ling Rinpoche (the two tutors of His Holiness the Dalai Lama) and more recently His Holiness himself.

Dagpo Shedrup Ling (victorious institute of Buddhist philosophical studies and practices) Monastery is situated in Kais , Kullu Valley, India and takes its origins from the Institution that was set up in Tibet, when the great Tsong_Khapa presented scholar, Je-Lodoe Tenpa Pel Sangpo a Dharma book titled “Greater Graded Path to Enlightenment” and instructed him to help establish a Dharma Institute along the Dagpo region to help spread and prolong the precious Buddha Dharma in that area . Through the help of Entraide-Franco-Tibetaine and some students of Venerable Dagpo Rinpoche , the equivalent of the Monastery as it stands today in India was consecrated in 2005 , and continues to impart the traditions it is widely known for. The monastery is well respected for its strict discipline and exemplary quality of monastic education and in its illustrious history many learned scholars and Gaden Throne holder have successively emerged from this most well renown of institution.
