Venerable Gen Losang Palbar la was born in 1977 in the region of Dagpo, Tibet. In 1988, at the age of 12, he entered Dagpo Monastery. He studied Buddhist philosophy and practiced the religious doctrine. In 1998, he travelled to India where he joined Drepung Gomang Monastery. From thereon, for over 15 years, Genla studied very well on Buddhist philosophies. From 2013 to present, Genla has been giving teachings to the students in Indonesia under the guidance of Venerable Dagpo Lama Rinpoche.
