About Event

By the First Panchen Lama Losang Chökyi Gyeltsen

We have the pleasure of announcing that Venerable Dagpo Lama Rinpoche will be continuing with his commentary on the First Panchen Lama’s fascinating short Lamrim work called “The Easy Path to Travel to Omniscience: A Practical Exposition of the Stages of the Path”, known in short as the “Easy Path or “De Lam” in Tibetan.

The Tibetan term Lamrim means the stages of the path to enlightenment. It is a special set of instructions that includes all the essential teachings of Lord Buddha, structuring them in such a way as to facilitate comprehension and practice.

It is a proven method practiced by past great masters who have achieved the supreme realization of Buddhahood. Similarly by practicing this method well, we can gradually tame our minds by discarding our faults and increasing our good qualities, thus allowing us to achieve happiness now and in the future, including our future lifetimes. Ultimately, it allows us to put an end to all our sufferings definitively and attain perfect enlightenment so that we may have the perfect abilities to help all sentient beings to be freed from sufferings.

Venerable Dagpo Lama Rinpoche was recognized by the Thirteenth Dalai Lama as the reincarnation of Dagpo Lama Rinpoche Jamphel Lhundrup, Pabongkha Dorje Chang’s root guru. Rinpoche has received virtually all the transmissions of the Lamrim lineages extant today and is a renowned and highly skilled teacher of these precious instructions. We are extremely fortunate to have the privilege of listening to these instructions given by him.
